Ellie Harold works in a home-based studio in Frankfort, Michigan. She has served as the artist-in-residence at both Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire, MI, as well as the Glen Arbor Art Association. John Shultz
John Shultz is a visual artist based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. When he is not traveling to New York, San Francisco, or Paris, Shultz focuses heavily on the landscapes– both natural and man-made– of the Great lakes region. You can find more of his work at johnshultzart.com
Amanda Rockafellow
Amanda Rockafellow is an award-winning photographer located in Tuscon, AZ. Her work focuses on natural, documentary-style shots and has been featured in National Geographic Traveler. Amanda grew up in the Ann Arbor area, and has deep connections to the Great Lakes Region. You can find more of her work at amandarockafellow.com
Lynne Heasley
Lynne Heasley is an environmental historian in the School of Environment, Geography, and Sustainability at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.
She has written several books, many of which you can find in our digital library! Her work focuses on the “more-than-human worlds of the Great Lakes.” In addition to being an author, Heasley is an avid photographer. You can find more of her work at lynneheasley.com
Sally Cole-Misch
Sally Cole-Misch is a writer and environmental communicator who enjoys “hiking, skiing, kayaking, sailing, gardening and reading, a hearty laugh with friends, the wonder of surprise, and the optimism that nature’s beauty always provides.”
